Vasia Resort and Spa is considerate about environmental, financial, communal and cultural impact of the hotel and has been awarded with a Travelife Golden Award. You can take part and help us with our effort!

LEARN HOW:

Power and water: When you leave the room and take your card with you, power switches off, after a few minutes.

A/C works with motion sensor and turns off after 30 minutes if no motion is detected. Towels and linen are replaced every second day in order to manage water and detergent abuse. We kindly ask you not to leave lights on and water taps or showers running if it doesn’t serve any purpose for your own comfort. For anything else you might need (e.g. fresh towels everyday) you can contact reception and we will be happy to meet your request.

Recycling: You can find recycling bins throughout the premises of the hotel. Feel free to use them for recycling glass, plastic or paper.

Local culture: Stay informed about Cretan culture, local products and businesses, flora, fauna and historical destinations though our daily newsletter.

Communal actions: Our animation team organizes frequently team actions for the local community to promote environmental awareness. Animators can inform you how you can join in!
